Who We Are

Conveniently located right on the Columbia River in beautiful Portland, Oregon, Hayden Island Boat Rentals offers quality pontoon boats in a variety of configurations to suit your boating needs.

Each of our boats is equipped with:

a Bluetooth stereo with surround speakers, ambient floor lighting, a fire extinguisher, air horn, flares and life jackets for every passenger (required to be worn by children 12 and under).

Most of our boats also include a GPS and/or a depth/fish finder. We also offer boating essentials like ice, sunscreen, towels, snacks and beverages.

Free parking all day – just park and go!

What is the security deposit for?

Similar to renting a car, the fully-refundable security deposit is used to secure your reservation and to cover damages to your rental.
Do we have to provide our own life jackets?

Nope! We provide all safety gear required by law, including life jackets for all passengers. Children 12 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times.
What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations up to 72 hours of the reservation date will receive a full refund of the deposit ($500). Cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit ($250) Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation date will not receive a refund of the deposit ($0) If weather forces a cancellation, renters will receive a full refund of their deposit OR a raincheck for a later date.
Is there an additional fuel cost?

No! We're the only boat rental company that provides their renters with FREE FUEL!
Can we rent a boat to take off-site?

Off-site rentals are available for an additional fee. Send us an email and let's discuss!
Is a boating license required?

While it's highly encouraged that our renters take the Boating Safety Education Course, it is not required by Oregon Marine Law. Renters without a license will be required to fill out a Safety Checklist before their voyage.
